Recommended Resources


A refusal to read cuts yourself off from millenia of the church's greatest teachers.  Just think of it - you can sit under the teaching of some of the world's greatest theologians and preachers by reading.  Of course the Bible alone is our authority and we need to be diligent Bereans, who "studied the scriptures daily to see if these things were so" (Acts 17:11).  But still, we are not islands to ourselves.  God has made us to benefit from the body and part of that is listening to teachers (see Eph. 4:11 for example).  Here are a few books that I have found particularly helpful.
